Our Software and Reporting

Stock Watch has continuously invested in its software. At the end of every stocktake, they will produce a report that highlights any problems on products and also highlights fraud and reinforce good business practices.

The Stock Watch Report contains the following elements:

  • Product Deficit: This section of the report will identify the problem items of your stocktake, along with the total value of these products. The advisory notes will provide solutions to help resolve these problems.

  • Stock-Till Reconciliation: This highlights the till sales compared to stock movement for every individual product in your premises and outlines the difference. It’s here that we show the variance for the last four stocktakes. Trends are visible on particular products and we pinpoint any ongoing problems.

  • Profit Discrepancy: In this section of the report we show the calculated sales (sales from the movement of stock) compared to the actual sales (sales from the till report). This highlights the cost of sales, gross profit in cash & as a percentage. We summarize the allowances for the stock period e.g. Staff Drinks, Comp Drinks, Waste etc. and finally highlight the discrepancy of actual cash.

  • Group Totals: An in-depth breakdown of sales, cost of sales and gross profit. This report can explain the overall margin achieved depending on the sales in each group.

  • Purchases: We summarize all of the products purchased in the stock period & a cost value.

  • Stock Analysis: This section outlines the cost price, selling price and margin of each individual product. It also shows you the total value of all stock ex-vat on your premises.

At the end of every stock take the benefits to you are considerable. We have an in-depth discussion with you in relation to our findings. We will offer solutions to assist you in solving any issues that we have highlighted. We will then e-mail or print your report.
